We are a self-supporting, volunteer orchestra. We take pride that we are a private non-profit 501(3)(c) organization.
Dues
Dues are $50 per year. Let us know if this is not possible for you, and we will work out something. Please pay by check, payable to Cincinnati Metropolitan Orchestra, and bring it to a rehearsal. Or you can mail it to: Kathy Klug, Treasurer, 6201 Turtledove Ct., Cincinnati, OH 45233
Rehearsals
We rehearse at Seton High School Performance Hall, on most Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9:30 pm. One Thursday rehearsal is added the week before a concert. Directions are here.
Current Openings
All strings (violin, viola, cello & bass) – especially lower strings. Most other sections are full, but many times we need substitutes, so feel free to contact us as well.
Rehearsal Attendance
Regular attendance is very important. It is challenging for all to rehearse when musicians are absent and sections are not heard.
CMO Music Folders
It is your responsibility to make sure that your music is at rehearsal unless a duplicate folder is definitely available; substitute players are sometimes available to fill in.
After Rehearsal Fun!
Following each rehearsal many of us stop at a nearby restaurant to relax and socialize.
